Directions for Hummel Park–find the Shelter House
Ever try to find a shelter house in a city park–the right shelter house for your party? Well, here’s the map and the menu for the picnic in the park, so you can come prepared to share in the fun.
We’ll be enjoying Pulled Georgia Pork and Roasted Chicken. The Pork is sauced with a sauce that Famous Dave’s calls Rich and Sassy (Troy indicated that it isn’t named after his wife, Dr. Heather. He just told her that to score points). The roasted chicken isn’t sauced, but, we will be offering the whole gamut of Dave’s sauces to compliment the roasted chicken. The reunion committee will also be supplying cold soft drinks and water (we need some extra coolers if anyone can offer one, or at least a vehicle large enough to hold a cooler made to fit a full grown deer because I have access to one of those dogs if we need it. Bring your lawn chairs and all the stuff you use when you have a picnic: your favorite sippy cup, napkins, trash bags, picnic blankets, tableware, and a covered dish or some chips to share with your friends.
